About Rosseau Falls Middle

The three waterfall sections at Rosseau Falls can provide both good exploring and photography. The river descends about 30 m on its rocky course towards Lake Rosseau. The upper falls is located just downstream of the Hwy 141 bridge. There is a picnic area on the north side of the road, with a small, but interesting cascade. On the south side of the road, the falls is more vertical, and open to the sky. Use caution crossing the road because it can be busy.

At high flow the waterfall is completely swamped by rushing white water. At low flow, there is lots of exposed rock. The lower falls is in a much quieter setting, below a bridge on Rosseau Lake Rd 3.

SPECIAL NOTE: The lands on either side of the river downstream of the little bridge are private. You cannot wander around on the rock downstream of the little bridge. But you can make a great photo (like mine, I think!) by looking downstream from the bridge towards Lake Rosseau.
