This is a roadside view only, and unfortunately, you will be looking downstream and can't see that much. Property on either side of the river is private. Remember, this web site does not give you permission to trespass.
This site used to be called 'Irvine Creek Cascade', but was renamed because there are several other cascades on Irvince Creek. The site is right at Salem, which made more sense. If you know of a local name, please let me know.
The ruins of an old stone building sit high above the falls on the left bank (looking downstream). This was probably a mill of some sort, but I couldn't find any information. Elora is full of old stone buildings, and while this falls is pretty much a drive-by location, visitors are only a few minutes' drive from downtown Elora, one of our 'waterfall towns'.
This site is coded yellow because it is on private property. While you can see the top of the falls from the road, you can't see much else at all. This web site does not give you permission to trespass. Please don't.
