This is an intriguing chain of small waterfalls that I have yet to visit. Billy Wilson's photos on Google Maps show that there are a number of small waterfalls along this steep stretch of creek. The largest is located on the far side of the tunnel under the railway, but is located on private property and cannot be visited.

When I arrived at the site the road was partially submerged in water and was looking a little rough. I envisioned getting a few scratches on my car's paint had I driven through. I could have chosen to hike the one km distance from Hwy 556 (Ranger Lake Rd) instead, but I was already behind schedule.

The 'road' to the falls is on the south side of Ranger Lake Rd, immediately east of the railway crossing. There is room to park here if your car isn't up for the cobbly bush road. A visit during spring or early summer is probably best for flow, while worst for blackflies!

It is my belief that this stretch may offer a treasure trove of attractive small waterfalls for photographers. None are very big, and I've assigned 3 stars based on the number of waterfalls available. This may be down-graded once I hear from someone that visited.

This is a hidden spot and the road is rough, but, it isn't too far off the main road. Will you be the first person to investigate? Please note that the land north of the railway is private.
