This is a great site to visit. There are a number of small to medium sized falls spread over an 800 m long stretch of the Current River. Nothing too big, but lots of photo opportunities and loads of exploring to do. Bare bedrock is exposed along both sides of the river.
During lower flow, this area is quite wide and carefful visitors have used the exposed rock to get around the falls. But remember that wet, smooth rocks can be extremely slippery. Anyone visiting must stay back from the river's edge.
This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project.
