I have not visited this waterfall yet. It is located about 800 m upstream from Moon Falls on the Moon River. It appears to be a long, narrow cascade. On the google aerial photography, it looks tiny and compact. On the provincial aerial photography, it looks to be almost 50 m long. Flow (and appearance) likely varies through the year.
It may be possible to boat or paddle from the marina at Wood's Bay. This would require a trip of about 7 km. Alternatively, there may be access from Moon River Cottages, for a shorter 2.5 km trip. Both of these places are private businesses, so visitors would have to call ahead to see if they allow use of their facilities for this purpose.
The main paddling route along the Moon RIver passes beside, but not past this little cascade. It would be a very short detour of maybe 100-200 m. Driving directions lead to the marina at Woods Bay, just for convenience for those that may set out from here.
If you visit this falls and could contribute a photo, I'd really appreciate it.
