This remote waterfall is found in the Mississagi River Provincial Park, on a creek that drains from tiny Threecomer Lake to the much larger Wakomata Lake. It takes a lot of work to reach this sport, and thus few waterfall fans will ever visit this site.
Facebook group member Alessandro De Marchi found it by bushwacking south from Frobel Lake and it was a really tough go. And when he arrived, flow was down to a trickle. This falls would be best visited in wetter seasons, although Alessandro notes that it would make it harder to get around the site during high flow.
It is somewhat easier to reach the falls by paddling through Wakomata Lake. A sandy boat launch is located at 46.5771, -83.4051; this is where the driving directions lead. A sign along Hwy 129 at the intersection at 46.5734, -83.4212 announces the boat ramp, and I assume that this means that the route is in good shape.
From the ramp, a 4.5 km trip along the north shore of the river leads to the mouth of the river. Alessandro made it part way up the creek, but then found an ATV route that led ot the falls.
