This is pretty waterfall that is easy to visit, even for the non-adventurer. The falls is located in the Kinsmen Park, which borders the much larger Hiawatha Highlands Conservation Area, where a 35 km long network of trails could keep you busy hiking for hours.
This is one of the highlights of the Algoma Region. It's not that it is a huge waterfall, it's that it is quite varied and easy to access and easy to photograph. However, flow can drop to almost nothing by mid-summer.
This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project. NOTE: There are no safety railings at this waterfall. Anyone that chooses to visit does so at their own risk.
