Sherman Falls isn't one of the biggest waterfalls in Hamilton, but it is one of the best ones. Fully shaded in a deep forest, this tall, steep washboard falls is great to visit and to photograph. Like many of the better-known waterfalls in Hamilton, it can get quite busy here on nice weekends.

Note that this waterfall is on private property, but the owners are currently allowing visitors, provided that they don't climb on the waterfall. Please do your part to keep this waterfall accessible. The driving directions lead to a parking lot several hundreds metres away. You can't park in front of the falls.

This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project. NOTE: There are no safety railings at this waterfall. Anyone that chooses to visit does so at their own risk.
