While not really the prettiest falls, this is an interesting site to visit. The Current River, after having fallen over the Cascades and Boulevard Lake Falls, takes its last tumble before emptying into Lake Superior. Part of the falls is hidden under the bridges for Shipyard Dr and the railway tracks. When flows are moderate to low, it may be possible to wander up the dry bedrock beside the river.

On the far side of the river stand some of Thunder Bay's iconic grain elevators. Other than the bridges, the whole scene is open to the sky and surrounded by some derelict industrial lands. But it's a pleasant place, and the small park has a few nice picnic tables.
