About Highland Falls

This is wide, but very small falls that is only visible to most visitors from the road. There are several residences right beside the falls, and so land access (as far as I know) is not available on the east side of the river. (if you know differently, please let me know!). The best view is from where Highland Creek Rd meets the river. Unfortunately, this is still 350 m downstream. This would probably make an easy paddling destination... the river is well wide enough to be on crown land. The falls itself are more of a low rapids, though they are easily noisy enough to hear from the parking spot on Highland Creek Rd.
