About Kapkigiwan Falls
A waterfall highlight in northeastern Ontario, this one is worth the drive. The jewel of a passive Provincial Park, this is a rugged falls that is easy to reach. As you enter the park, keep right, and follow the signs to the falls. There is a nice paved parking lot about 300 m upstream. Follow the gravel trail around the curve in the river until you see a clearing with a boulder fence. This is maybe 5 mins, and is the overlook from which this photo was taken. You can also hike just a bit further to an old stone staircase in the woods. Follow this down the slope to the river bed.
