Lovers Rapids is a low, yet sizeable and attractive cascade on the edge of Petawawa. The falls are situated in Centennial Park, just south of CFB Petawawa.
Paths through the woods provide access to the cascade at many spots. Another decent cascade is found a kilometre upstream, under the footbride for the Algonquin Trail. See the entry for Grillade Rapids.
You can park in the parking lot for the park, off Park St. I've been waiting to use that phrase for a long time!
