About Ritchie Falls

There are several small falls in this little passive park. You could probably identify three sets, though there may be more rapids downstream. The largest is right under the one-lane road bridge for Ritchie Falls Rd. The other two are a short walk downstream. When I last visited years ago, there were picnic tables nearby, making this a great person-size destination for a young family outing. No huge cliffs to worry about. If you cross the bridge and walk a little further you will meet the Haliburton Rail Trail, which continues for many kilometres in either direction.
