This stretch of river is absolutely gorgeous, especially when framed by the fall colours. It may not look like much in my image; I can't find my images from fall. This is when the spot becomes magical! It is a fan favourite in our Facebook community.
A long series of rapids and very low cascades fill the river, many of which can almost be viewed while sitting in your car. The road winds along the river for a while, being less than 10 m from the river at times.
Nothing here is very high, and so if you are looking for a big vertical drop, this isn't the place. The site is magical in fall, and you are likely to see lots of other photographers and leaf-peepers out and about at that time of year.
Parking is right along the road, just about within view of the falls. There is a small gazebo. After viewing this area, be sure to see Hog's Trough, which is just a kilometre up the road. See the entry for that page.
